Fantastic read. It was hard to put down..so I didn't till it was finished. So descriptive I could smell the flowers and see the old southern homes. Love love loved it. Can't wait for the sequel.
I loved this book. It has everything you want down to a final twist that makes you shudder. The prose fits the mood for each scene effortlessly flipping from lighthearted to gossipy with an undertone of grim. Really excellent!
WOW!! You would never know this was Erica's first book. Very well written and such an easy read. And what a little twist at the end - very unexpected! Can't wait to see what she writes next. I hope it is a follow up to this book because I fell in love with the characters. Well done!
This was an interesting book! The story depicts a nice Southern town in a respectful manner rather than depicting false stereotypes! I am looking forward to this writer's prequel.

A story that draws you in. Moving from a simple starting point through complex relationships, and ending with a surprising yet credible twist.
I loved all the descriptions of the settings making one feel as if the reader was actually there. Loved the surprise ending of who Dodge the grandson was. But still never figured out why his great grandmother and grandmother were killed and by whom???? Read and re-read but never really could come up with a valid reason
